After a drunk driver struck Jessica Aguilar and dragged her nearly 40 feet beneath a car, she lost 7% of her leg and was told she might never run again.
Yesterday, she completed the 2026 RBC Brooklyn Half.
Inspired by her daughter—who always believed she could run again—the two celebrated their finishes (including her daughter’s Boardwalk Kids Run!) the best way possible in Coney Island: with a hot dog. 🌭
Send some love 💙 to Jessica and her family as she now sets her sights on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon this November
