Since the Superfly 4 in 2014, the Mercurial Superfly has been a mid-cut football boot. For 2026 however, and for the 11th generation, the Superfly 11 Elite has somewhat controversially gone back to a low-cut design! Personally, I'm a big fan of this change, but there are plenty of people who would disagree with me. Well, I do have at least some good news, there's still one mid-cut Superfly left! The bad news however, is that it's the Academy tier version...

In today's video we take a closer look at the $100 Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 Academy, the final remaining mid-cut Superfly, and it looks "interesting". We breakdown what these budget friendly "speed" boots are all about, how they compare to the rest of the Superfly 11 line up, and perhaps most importantly, whether they're actually worth their $100 price tag over other "value for money" options in the Speed category.
