One Ball Rule Ep 3 | Desert Golf Was a Mistake (7400 Yards at Chiricahua)
Golf
Welcome back to the One Ball Rule!
This is my golf challenge series where I attempt to play an entire round using just ONE golf ball. Penalty shots have been the bane of my existence and scoring average, trying to keep them as low as possible this year.
Rules are simple:
No reloads.
No second chances.
If I lose the ball…the round is over.
For Episode 3, we took it to the desert.
We played Desert Mountain (Chiricahua)—over 7400 yards from the tips, in one of the most punishing environments in golf.
And I’m starting to believe this might be the hardest version of the One Ball Rule.
Because out here if you miss your line by a few yards, and the ball is gone.
This was also a USGA GHINvitational, a four ball match.I teamed up with my Callaway sis Cailyn Henderson and went up against the ever entertaining Ben Ricciardi and the bomber Troy Mullins.
So this episode wasn't just about surviving, but about competing while trying to keep ONE ball alive the entire round.
Shoutout to the USGA for hosting us ahead of the upcoming Four-Ball Championship at Desert Mountain.
Let me know in the comments:
What do you think about the retirement of my narrator?
What other stipulations should we add?
And where should we take Episode 4?
If you’re enjoying the series, . We’re taking the One Ball Rule to the toughest courses in the world. Up next Shinnecock!!!
