Social Corner Episode 5: Celebrating How Soccer Brings the World Together

This week's episode of Social Corner highlights the amount of cultures represented on the Spirit's roster, Spirit fans, and the city of Washington, D.C.

As a people, we have seen how sports bring people from all walks of life together. Most recently at the FIFA Men's World cup that ended around three weeks ago.

While we are one team, in one league, we currently have 15 international players on our roster. And THAT is always worth celebrating!

About The Washington Spirit

The Washington Spirit is the premier professional women’s soccer team based in Washington, D.C. and plays at Audi Field in Buzzard Point.
