The New Balance SC Elite v6 is a carbon fibre racing shoe designed for runners chasing fast times, whether that's over shorter road races or the marathon. Its performance centres around an Infinion foam midsole, which is designed to deliver a high level of energy return while maintaining a lightweight feel to help keep your legs fresher over longer efforts.
Working alongside the foam is New Balance's Energy Arc system, which pairs a carbon fibre plate with strategically shaped voids in the midsole to store and return more energy with each stride. The plate has been tuned with a stiffer forefoot to create an even more propulsive toe-off when running at faster paces.
