The Toronto Maple Leafs are right back at it for Game 2 of the 2026-27 NHL season as they host the New York Islanders on the second half of a back-to-back. Zack Phillips breaks down the Leafs lineup for tonight, including Anthony Stolarz getting his first start of the season, Bo Groulx drawing into the lineup, and what to watch from Auston Matthews, Kirill Marchenko and the rest of Toronto’s top six. After a difficult opening night, can Gavin McKenna settle in and take another step in his second NHL game? Can Darren Raddysh bounce back, and is the Morgan Rielly-Raddysh pairing something the Leafs should continue with? Zack also looks at Toronto’s power-play units, the bottom six, the defensive pairings and what needs to improve following Game 1 before giving his bet365 best bets for Leafs vs. Islanders, including anytime-goal looks at Auston Matthews and Matthew Schaefer.
