Scott Kinabalu Trail full review. Over the years of testing out trail running shoes on the channel, it’s been a bit of a bumpy road with the Scott Running brand. From the top-performing Scott Supertrac RC 3, which I really enjoy running in, all the way down to the very disappointing Scott Kinabalu 3 — one of the worst trail shoes I’ve ever run in. But things are changing. The Scott Kinabalu range is going through a big overhaul, and I’ve managed to get my hands on an early pair of the brand-new Scott Kinabalu Trail. Scheduled for release in 2026, these shoes will be the direct replacement for the Kinabalu 3. I’m keeping everything crossed and hoping for big improvements in comfort, weight, and performance.
