The launch was impossible to miss — the Mafate 5 was everywhere you looked around town, making it clear just how much time and investment Hoka had put into this release. Despite the hype, early reactions to the Hoka Mafate 5 were mixed, with plenty of runners sharing negative feedback and doubts about the shoe. Fast forward to now, and after my first run impressions I’ve gone on to log 50+ miles in the Mafate 5 across the stunning trails of Cornwall. We had made it through the 60km of Day 1 at Ultra X Morocco, and our bodies were just about holding up! My left foot was a little sore, but all the recovery work we’d done back at camp after the first stage had definitely helped. So we lined up on the start line once again for Day 2. This £94 Waterproof Running Jacket Sounds Too Good to Be True | Harrier Exmoor 2.5L Jacket REVIEW
A quality waterproof running jacket has pretty much become an essential item of kit for most runners these days. Unfortunately, they have also become very expensive over the last five to six years, and you will struggle to find a decent waterproof running jacket under £150. So when I heard that Harrier were updating their very reasonably priced Exmoor Waterproof Jacket, I thought it would be a good idea to test one out here on the channel.
