EXCLUSIVE Behind the Scenes at Scott Sports HQ, Designing The New Kinabalu Trail + Sierre-Zinal Race
Back in August last year Liga and I were invited out to the Scott Sports HQ in Switzerland for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. I’ve always been a gear geek when it comes to running kit and shoes so this was a dream trip for me. The Scott team were welcoming and we had a great couple of days exploring their headquarters. We went deep into the design and development process for their trail running shoes and kit and it was amazing to see the level of passion and effort that goes into creating their products. The trip didn’t stop there because we also got to test the new Kinabalu Trail on some beautiful Swiss trails with the Scott development team. That was incredible to run and learn more about how the shoe performs out on terrain. On the final day we headed to the iconic Sierre-Zinal Golden Trail Series race where some of the world’s best runners were competing. It was an unforgettable experience and a fantastic trip. A big thanks to the team from Scott Running for inviting us out and showing us behind the scenes of how trail running gear is made.
