WOW, what an update! Scott Kinabalu Trail [Full Review] | Best trail running shoes | Run4Adventure
Scott Kinabalu Trail full review. Over the years of testing out trail running shoes on the channel, it’s been a bit of a bumpy road with the Scott Running brand. From the top-performing Scott Supertrac RC 3, which I really enjoy running in, all the way down to the very disappointing Scott Kinabalu 3 — one of the worst trail shoes I’ve ever run in. But things are changing. The Scott Kinabalu range is going through a big overhaul, and I’ve managed to get my hands on an early pair of the brand-new Scott Kinabalu Trail. Scheduled for release in 2026, these shoes will be the direct replacement for the Kinabalu 3. I’m keeping everything crossed and hoping for big improvements in comfort, weight, and performance. La Jonction Chamonix | EPIC hike & trail run to Mont Blanc Glaciers | Run4Adventure
Our time in the stunning Chamonix valley was running out, so we set off on one last big adventure — the legendary La Jonction trail. Starting right from our campsite, we laced up our trail running shoes and headed into the mountains for a run/hike we’d been dreaming about for a long time. Do we REALLY need carbon plates in trail running shoes? | Kailas Fuga EX Pro Initial Review
Kailas FUGA EX PRO review - first run and first impressions. Today I’m testing out the brand-new Kailas Fuga EX Pro trail running shoes – a carbon plated model that promises speed, propulsion, and efficiency on the trails. Over the years I’ve reviewed and tested a wide range of trail shoes from Kailas, and I’ve always enjoyed the ride. But the Fuga EX Pro is something completely different – it’s designed with a carbon fibre plate, something I’ve always been a little sceptical about in trail running shoes. Do we really need carbon plates for technical terrain, or is it just marketing hype? In this video, I put the Kailas Fuga EX Pro to the test, sharing my first impressions, thoughts on comfort, fit, grip, cushioning, and of course, that carbon plate. One of the biggest highlights of UTMB week in Chamonix for myself and Liga is always our annual shake out run – and this year marked our fourth edition. What started as a small community meet-up has grown into something truly special, with around 120 runners from all over the world joining us in 2025 to celebrate trail running together. UTMB ETC 2025 - RACE DAY | That didn't go to plan! | Run4Adventure
After Liga’s incredible run at the CCC at UTMB last year, we decided to take on something a little shorter in 2025 – the ETC (Experience Trail Courmayeur). At just 15km in distance, it might sound like the “easy” option at UTMB week, but with a huge 1200m of vertical gain, this mountain race is anything but simple! From the steep opening climb to the rugged alpine trails, the ETC at UTMB Mont-Blanc packs a serious punch in a short distance. We both signed up thinking it would be a fun way to soak up the incredible atmosphere in Chamonix without committing to an ultra – but it turned into a much harder day in the mountains than expected. That main climb? Absolute brute – and I’d completely forgotten how steep it really was! In this video we take you along for the ride – the climbs, the descents, the breathtaking views, and the finish line smiles. Whether you’re considering entering the ETC yourself, are building up to the CCC, OCC, TDS, or even UTMB itself, or you just love following trail running adventures in the Alps, this video will give you a real taste of what the ETC race at UTMB is all about.
