My Copenhagen half marathon prep just got REAL. I’ve been battling plantar fasciitis, losing motivation and stuck doing easy runs and bike intervals.
But a bit of friendly competition changed everything. TRC Club admin (the elusive running channel 'stig') is also training for Copenhagen. We just placed a bet on who can shave the most time off their PB. Loser gets a mystery tattoo.
Training might look different this time but I’m more motivated than ever thanks to everyone in The Running Channel Club 🎯
What my training day looks like:
Morning dog walk 🐾
Ice cream break so I don’t melt at my laptop 🍦
Warm-up jog to the gym 🏃♂️
10x2 min bike intervals + physio strength work 🚴♂️💪
