STOP Making Your Golf Swing Two Separate Moves
Most golfers treat the backswing and downswing as two separate moves. Wind up fully, then start down.
But a powerful golf swing is one continuous motion, not two.
Before your chest finishes turning back, you should have already started to shift your pressure towards your front foot.
✅ The turn back and the shift forward overlap, they don’t happen one after the other
✅ Pressure should already be moving into your lead foot before the top of the backswing
✅ Keep your arms in front of your chest so the club has room to drop into the slot
This overlap is what creates effortless power and a smooth transition into the downswing.
