San Francisco turned purple. The Golden State Valkyries brought the WNBA championship home, and the whole Bay showed up to celebrate. A franchise this new isn't supposed to be lifting a trophy yet, but here we are: double-decker buses down the Embarcadero, champagne flying and fans packed along the barricades at the Ferry Building.
