First-year pro swimmer Josh Matheny competed at the Bergen Swim Festival last weekend, placing 4th in the 50 (27.81) and 100 Breast (1:00.48) and 3rd in the 200 Breast (2:13.46). The NCAA All-American for Indiana said it has been a bit more challenging than he expected transitioning to the pro life, not always having the team environment around him during training when the college team is off at conference or NCAA Championships.
However, Matheny said he is adjusting and is excited to just have one big meet, Pan Pacific Championships, to focus on for the summer.
