Your best days aren’t behind you. Your training just needs to fit the life you have now.
In Part 2 of the SW7 Open Gym Podcast, Sam Warburton talks about why training needs to adapt as you get older and life gets busier.
Work, family and less free time can make it harder to train like you used to, but that doesn’t mean your health and fitness have to fall away.
With Built For Life, the focus is on consistency: three 45-minute sessions a week, plus an optional aerobic session. That could be a light jog, a short swim or simply walking the dog.
You don’t need to fit in five hour-long gym sessions to make progress.
Find a routine that works for your life now, stick with it and give yourself the chance to feel the benefits.
Sam also shares that he gets more compliments about Built For Life and SW7 Academy now than he did during his professional rugby career.
