Breaststroke Racing Streamline #theraceclub
In breaststroke, poor distance per stroke often stems from an elevated head position and lazy streamline. At the Race Club we learn the hyper streamline on land. This involves keeping the head down, hyper flexing the shoulders, and tightly squeezing the arms and legs. Believe us when we say it's not easy, but who said swimming fast is!?
Once you've nailed a solid hyper streamline, slightly separate your hands, ideally with the pinky facing down, and voilà! You've got your Breaststroke Racing Streamline. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, there's always room to enhance your Racing Streamline!
What are some of your favorite drills to practice your streamline in Breaststroke?
