Wrist timing in the shot - engage early or let it flow naturally? Brianna and I go back and forth on this one.
My take: there's a rhythm to the shot. Knees bend then extend, the ball dips then rises, and I believe the wrist should follow that same down up, back forward flow. Jam it back too early and you're just creating tension that doesn't need to be there.
Brianna pushes back with a great point though - engaging the wrist early prevents "crushing the egg," which is one of the most common flaws she sees in shooters. It stops the ball from getting pulled back into the body and keeps the lift line going straight up instead of loading backwards first.
Both perspectives have real merit here. Watch the full breakdown and let me know which side you land on. #shorts
