I found mine three quarters through a football article about a quarterbacks coach at Nebraska. Everyone wanted his secret to producing great QBs, and when he finally dropped it, I felt like I'd walked into the light in the Blues Brothers.
Arm speed going back should equal arm speed going forward. For shooting, that means the dip going down has to match the speed going up. Load the basketball on the catch, not after, and let that rhythm do the work.
I've said "dip and shoot at the same speed" in camps all over the world at this point. Alignment gets you there, but rhythm is what makes it repeatable. #shorts
