Toronto Maple Leafs vs Nashville Predators Postgame Show ft. Steven Ellis | Game 4 | TLN After Dark

The Toronto Maple Leafs complete a wild comeback to defeat the Nashville Predators 5-4 in overtime, and Zack Phillips is live immediately following the final buzzer for Leafs Nation After Dark to break down everything that happened at Scotiabank Arena.

After falling behind 3-0 early in the second period, the Leafs battled all the way back. John Tavares got Toronto on the board with Gavin McKenna picking up his first career NHL point, William Nylander scored on the power play, and McKenna followed it up by scoring the first goal of his NHL career to bring the Leafs back within one. Jack Roslovic tied the game in the third before Auston Matthews capped off a four-point night by scoring the overtime winner with just 14 seconds remaining.

Zack breaks down the comeback, McKenna’s breakthrough performance, Matthews stepping up when Toronto needed him, Nylander’s three-point night, the Leafs overcoming another difficult start, and what a dramatic win means for a team that entered the night 1-2 and facing questions about whether Game 4 was already approaching must-win territory.

Steven Ellis joins Zack to give his immediate reaction to the game, McKenna’s first NHL goal and multi-point performance, Toronto’s early-season play and the biggest takeaways from a chaotic night against Nashville.

Plus, Zack revisits his keys to the game, takes your questions and reactions from the live chat, and looks ahead as the Maple Leafs improve to 2-2-0 on the season.
