Your starts are leaving time in the water. Here's how to fix that. 🚀
These 3 drills will sharpen your block work fast:
1️⃣ Back Leg Kick – hands on block, feet staggered. Kick that back leg sky-high, toe pointed, back arched. Full extension every rep.
2️⃣ Cactus Starts – stand tall, arms out like a cactus 🌵, bend over into an athletic RDL stance, and then enter the water with zero splash. Teaches balance on the block AND hip lift on entry.
3️⃣ Single Leg Starts – normal starting position, then pull the back foot off the block before starting. Forces your swimmer to actually USE their arms and pull on the block.
