Verona vs Lube | Highlights | Supercoppa Italia 2026. What a battle in Trieste! On the same day as the other semifinal, the second clash of the Supercoppa Italiana di Pallavolo Maschile delivered pure drama as Rana Verona faced off against Cucine Lube Civitanova for a place in the Final.

And it did NOT disappoint.

Verona defeated Lube 3–1 (27-25, 30-28, 17-25, 25-21) in a high-intensity match filled with long rallies, clutch moments, and explosive performances. The first two sets were absolute thrillers, both decided by the smallest margins as Verona showed nerves of steel in the most critical points.

Lube responded strongly in the third set, dominating 25-17 with powerful serving and improved attacking efficiency, but Verona regrouped quickly and closed the match in the fourth set to book their historic place in the Supercoppa Final.

Noumory Keita was unstoppable for Verona, finishing with 24 points and delivering crucial spikes in pressure moments. Darlan Souza added 18 points, providing consistency and firepower throughout the match.

On the other side, Aleksandar Nikolov was sensational for Lube, leading all scorers with 26 points, keeping his team alive with big swings and fearless attacks until the very end.

Verona impressed with a remarkable 57% team attack efficiency, showing great rhythm and connection in offense. Lube fought hard, recording 12 aces and strong blocking moments, but costly service errors and reception struggles made the difference in decisive rallies.

This victory sent Verona to the Supercoppa Italia 2026 Final, where they will face Perugia in a massive showdown for the first major trophy of the year. For Verona, this marks a historic step and confirms their rise among Italy’s elite volleyball powers.
