USA Men on 4x100 Free World Record: "It's always in the back of our minds"

The US men got the job done last night, posting a 3:09.01 championship record in the 4x100 free relay for gold. Coming into the race, there was quite a bit of buzz on deck about the potential to see the legendary 2008 world record (3:02.24) in the event get broken. Though that didn't come to fruition, the men in the relay confirmed that it was on their minds as much as everyone else's. On paper, the USA men have a legitimate shot at it, and they said they are keeping it in the back of their minds every time they race it over the next couple of years.
