Christmas Day parkrun at Albert Park 🎄🏃♂️
Today we’re down at Albert Park, home of the Formula 1, taking part in the Albert Park parkrun on Christmas morning 2025 – and wow, what a turnout. Over 1,500 people showed up, making it an absolute festival atmosphere.
It was windy, cold, and very Melbourne for summer, with a huge finishing chute, packed crowds, and plenty of pre-run chaos. They even ran out of barcodes, which tells you just how many runners were there.
From the start line buzz to navigating the massive finishing area, this was parkrun at its biggest and busiest. Massive credit to the Albert Park parkrun volunteers for pulling off such a well-organised event on Christmas Day.
