Miles Victors once weighed over 200kg and needed a cane to walk. Today, he runs 100 mile ultras in sandals. But losing over 90kg didn’t make the struggles in his head just disappear.
Miles joins Tommy to share how a short walk to a pharmacy became the first step towards changing his life, and why a devastating DNF taught him something that finishing never had.
They explore emotional eating, depression, the power of small daily actions, and how self acceptance can sit alongside the desire to improve.
Plus, the realities of running ultras in sandals and Miles’s 420 mile Utah challenge to raise money for mental health charity Still I Run. (stillirun.org)
