We Found Germany’s HIDDEN Trail Paradise! | Saxon Switzerland | European Trail Running Road Trip Ep4

This year's European road trip continues as we head to Germany and the incredible Saxon Switzerland National Park! Liga had discovered a picturesque campsite right next to one of the region's most famous historic hiking trails, the Malerweg (Painter's Trail), so it sounded like the perfect place to stop for a few days.

From the campsite, we followed part of Malerweg Stage 4, heading up through the spectacular sandstone landscape towards the incredible Schrammsteine rock formations and viewpoints. From there, we continued down towards Lichtenhain Waterfall before looping back to the campsite.

We honestly weren't prepared for just how spectacular this place would be. The towering sandstone cliffs, rocky trails, ladders and incredible views completely blew our minds!
