For its 13th year, the Canadian Futures Showcase has been a way for the best amateur talent in Canada to get an opportunity to showcase their stills in front of professional and collegiate scouts. Since 2013, over a THOUSAND Showcase alum have gone on to receive collegiate offers with just under two hundred being selected by Major League teams. We spoke to former Major League veteran Matt Stairs about the growth of baseball in Canada and why this showcase is so important to our game.
