Is the PandaPrank Orbis Worth $200? | Alex’s Honest Review

In today’s video, Alex reviews the PandaPrank Orbis, the debut shoe from a brand new Chinese brand entering the running market, and one that arrives with a bold $200 price tag and a lot to prove.

The Orbis is marketed as a gravel shoe built equally for city roads, gravel paths, and forest trails. Alex is not fully convinced by that positioning and finds it sits closer to a trail shoe in practice. The outsole backs that up: Vibram Litebase Megagrip with variable lugs between 4 and 4.6mm and drainage channels cut through the pattern is serious trail hardware.

The midsole is where the shoe genuinely earns attention. Pulse H-Foam is a TPEE-based supercritical compound, and it is bouncy and lively in a way that makes the Orbis a genuinely fun shoe to run in. For a first product, that is a real statement.

The fit is what holds it back, and for Alex it is the single thing standing between the Orbis and serious contention. The heel collar runs too high, which led to bleeding and real discomfort during testing. It is a fixable problem rather than a fundamental one, but at $200 for a debut product from a brand with no running history, that fix needs to come.

If you want an honest take on one of the most interesting new brand launches in running this year, Alex delivers.
