The Fans' Forum Is No More... Rebrand or Real Change?

For over 15 years, Blackburn Rovers supporters have called for better communication, greater transparency and a stronger voice at the club.

This week, Blackburn Rovers announced a brand-new Multi-Level Engagement Plan, bringing the Fans' Forum to an end and introducing a new supporter engagement structure, including a Fan Advisory Panel, developed in partnership with the Football Supporters' Association (FSA).

Supporters have already started asking the big questions...

• Is this just a rebrand?
• Has anything actually changed?
• Why is the Fans' Forum ending?

• Why are the Football Supporters' Association involved?
• Will supporters genuinely have a stronger voice?

As Chair of the outgoing Fans' Forum, Mark gives his perspective on why these changes have happened, what the new structure actually means and answers the biggest questions supporters are asking following the club's announcement.

This isn't a sales pitch and it isn't a criticism for the sake of it. It's an honest discussion about what has changed, what still needs to improve and whether this could represent the biggest step forward in supporter engagement since Venky's took over Blackburn Rovers.
