A hot week continues for the Miami Hurricanes in recruiting!

Mario Cristobal has secured verbal commitments from 4-Star class of 2026 tight end Israel Briggs and 4-Star 2027 defensive back Jaylyn Jones. Earlier this week, the Canes flipped 4-Star receiver Vance Spafford from Georgia, landed 4-Star edge Asharri Charles, and flipped 3-Star linebacker Justin “JJ” Edwards from Rutgers. The Hurricanes are trending well for 3-Star receiver Tyran Evans, who is set to announce later on Wednesday. Will Miami soon have a top 5 class in America?

Miami appears to be surging for blue chip running back Derrek Cooper. Cooper set an announcement date for July 12th. In addition to Miami, Georgia and Ohio State are also in the mix for Cooper.
