They world has been wild and Paul’s own little world has been busy, but it’s time for a H-Town check-in after a wild week and a half. We start off with a note on the heartbreak that this country has been facing (for quite some time now) at the hands of the hateful and cowardly, but then we give a quick salve for the sadness: talking about the emotional roller coaster that is being a Houston fan. These Houston teams have taken fans for a tumultuous ride in 2025 and we’re hoping for less bumps in 2026. CJ Stroud will be the main character in memes until he beats the big game allegations. But is our emotional response to the game the best one? What is CJs future in Houston? We break down our opinion and then talk about the Houston Astros roster going into spring training. And finally follow up with a brief check in with the state of Rockets basketball in January. Are the growing pains for this team over or are they in desperate need of some new life via trade?
