Section 5 looks to be a wild section with multiple teams in the mix to take the crown. We heard that Maple Grove boys have a special coach homecoming for the 2026 season, Ted seems to think that will be enough to propel the crimson to a section title on the boys side. Pmac and The Source think it's BSMs section until proven otherwise.
On the girls side, it looks like the Crimson are favorites to run it back, but Coach Kidd from Wayzata loves when her team flies under the radar... just like last year when we were ALL wrong about the Trojans.
Thanks to Old Southern BBQ for riding with us again in 2026. Make sure to check out one of their five locations (Minneapolis, Arden Hills, Shakopee, Excelsior and Hudson) or online for mouth watering ribs, smoked wings and delicious sides.
