In this episode, I’m joined by Anthony from Hockey Psychology to preview the 2026–27 NHL season and sort through which teams have actually improved. The Toronto Maple Leafs have changed, the San Jose Sharks could be ready to take the next step, and Anthony isn’t quite as sold on the Montreal Canadiens as some people are.
We also look at what makes the league’s best teams work and where the Vancouver Canucks fit into all of this. That includes Elias Pettersson’s confidence, Manny Malhotra’s approach, and what a successful rebuild season would actually look like. There’s also a little disagreement about the Ottawa Senators and a familiar question about Quinn Hughes’ future.
