On the 14th episode of the WesternCentric podcasts, hosts Colton Davies and Matthew Zator interview 2022 top-prospect Denton Mateychuk (049:58) from the Moose Jaw Warriors. We talk about who he looks up to in the NHL, his favourite WHL team as a kid growing up and his experiences playing at the CHL/NHL top prospects game and winning a gold medal at the IIHF Under-18 Championships.
First off, the guys have some house cleaning to take care of. They open the podcast up to discuss a handful of WHL debuts that took place over the last week.
