Brent Venables met with the media Tuesday evening to give an update on his Oklahoma football team as the Sooners are just under two weeks away from the annual (back again) Red-White Game to take place April 18. Venables seemed to be happy with some of the performances of his young receivers. He talked about the strengths of the tight end room and the developing depth at the safety position. Venables also gave an update on the progress of Michigan transfer linebacker Cole Sullivan who performed well in the Sooners' last scrimmage. What will it mean having this team perform in front of a crowd for the return of the Spring Game? And how does Venables feel about the competitive depth on defense? And how would he compare it to last year's team? More in another edition of the Practice Report.
