“EXETER DESERVED TO LOSE!” 🤬

🏆 HISTORY MADE… FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS! 😱

For the first time since the Champions Cup launched in 2014, just ONE Premiership club has won on the opening weekend! Eight English teams. ONE win. ONE draw. SIX defeats. And Ryan Wilson has absolutely LOST HIS MIND! 🤬🔥

The Champions Cup is back, the Premiership has taken an almighty European kicking, and the boys have got a LOT to unpack.

First up, Exeter against 14-man Toulouse. You’ve got an extra man for almost 65 minutes, you’re three points down, and you decide to kick for a DRAW?! 😱 Ryan comes out with both barrels blazing. EXETER DESERVED TO LOSE! And for once, can anyone actually argue with him?

Meanwhile, friend of the show George Hendy must surely be in the frame for England recognition, particularly after burning down former Lions winger Josh Adams! 🏃💨 Is Hendy simply an absolute freak?!

Saracens ship 45 points against Connacht, Bath get humbled by Montpellier, Bristol are battered by the Stormers and Glasgow are looking rather tasty. Just how far behind has English club rugby fallen?

And with Gloucester and Bordeaux serving up TEN tries but neither getting an attacking bonus point, what do we think of the new Champions Cup rules?!

⚔️ FASHION POLICE: Adam Hastings has reinvented himself as d’Artagnan. Is the swashbuckling Musketeer look magnificent? Do we not approve? Or do we DEFINITELY NOT APPROVE?! 🥸

🏝️ TENERIFE PRE-SEASON: WHAT REALLY HAPPENS ON TOUR…

Max takes us back to a particularly memorable pre-season in Tenerife, where Chris Hala’ufia decided to launch Matt Garvey into a swimming pool.

One problem. HE SLIGHTLY MISSED THE POOL. 💀

Garvey’s hip takes the punishment, and we’re left wondering how many suspiciously reported “training injuries” actually originated from hotel swimming pools, questionable decisions and large Tongan gentlemen.

From European humiliation to poolside carnage, questionable facial hair and Ryan Wilson’s spectacular refusal to sit on the fence, this is Maul or Nothing at its most gloriously unfiltered.
