Jordan Robinson and Sheryl Swoopes are BACK to break down where the CBA negotiations stand now that the deadline has been pushed to January 9—what the league is proposing, what the players are fighting for, and why housing, revenue share, and season length have become the biggest sticking points.
And right in the middle of all this? Project B—the new global 5-on-5 league signing major WNBA stars to multimillion-dollar deals. What exactly is Project B, and how much pressure does it put on the league during these already-tense CBA talks?
Lastly, we hit a news roundup: Dallas wins the No. 1 pick again and immediately becomes the center of the trade market, and the New York Liberty make a splash by hiring Chris DeMarco as their new head coach.
