MAKE-OR-BREAK: Atlanta Falcons' Michael Penix FACES Career-Defining Season

Atlanta Falcons face a make-or-break season as Michael Penix Jr. battles for NFL relevance and the starting quarterback job, with his future—and the franchise’s stability—hanging in the balance. Will Penix prove why Terry Fontenot took the gamble, or will Atlanta remain stuck in quarterback uncertainty? Aaron Freeman and Jarvis Davis (Locked On Georgia Tech) break down the high-stakes competition with Tua Tagovailoa and the far-reaching consequences if Penix falters again.

The conversation shifts to the Falcons’ rookie class, spotlighting Avieon Terrell’s potential to finally solve Atlanta’s cornerback woes opposite AJ Terrell. The hosts evaluate Zachariah Branch’s fit and possible offensive impact, question Tommy Rees’s ability to unlock his talents, and debate which under-the-radar rookie could surprise in training camp. Can the Falcons’ newest faces deliver immediate results, or will fans be left hoping for next year’s draft heroics?
