Episode Notes
On the show this week I speak to the Barrow Raiders Chairman Steve Neale. Since lockdown, despite the season being suspended, he has been able to bring in vital income for the club through setting up a beer garden on the Craven Park pitch. The club has recently signed former Super League and Toronto player Hakim Miloudi, and Steve says this income was a key reason why they were able to afford him. He has ambitious plans of going unbeaten this season in League 1 and in the future pushing for a place in Super League. Also on the show I offer my thoughts on the recent decision to not grant Hull KR, Bradford Bulls and Castleford Tigers an Elite Academy licence. There are also rumours of a return to licensing for Super League, and I discuss why that would be the wrong move. And there's all the action from round 7 too.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/shoulder-charge/message
