What I Bet - Wednesday July 22nd

Griffin Warner talks betting for Wednesday.
Griffin Warner opens the latest What I Bet episode from the Straight Out of Vegas AM feed by circling back to an unresolved Kansas City Royals play from Tuesday, July 21, still awaiting a final grade, before turning to a Wednesday, July 22 Major League Baseball card thickened by multiple doubleheaders. He works the slate start to finish, beginning with Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road against Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees, where he says he is not looking to fade Cole even with a live Pittsburgh bat behind him. He moves to Dean Kremer and the Baltimore Orioles visiting a red hot Boston Red Sox club that has won 14 straight, then to Christian Scott and a New York Mets team he thinks looks more like a contender than expected against an injury riddled Logan Henderson in Milwaukee. He covers Landen Roupp and the San Francisco Giants at Kansas City against Seth Lugo, trusting neither bullpen, Cade Cavalli and the Washington Nationals in Colorado, where he backs an over that dropped from 13 runs to eleven and a half, and Merrill Kelly and the Arizona Diamondbacks at home against an Athletics club he wants to fade, a matchup that becomes his marquee selection later in the show. He runs through Brady Singer and the Cincinnati Reds in Seattle against Emerson Hancock, the St. Louis Cardinals against a dependable Reid Detmers and the Los Angeles Angels, and then pivots into the night slate with Eric Lauer and the Los Angeles Dodgers visiting Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies, where heavy money pushed the line toward even money before rain moved through the East Coast and Warner named the over his biggest interest of the night. He covers Bailey Ober and the Minnesota Twins against Slade Cecconi and the Cleveland Guardians, calling Cleveland's price too cheap, then returns to Pittsburgh for a game two look at Bubba Chandler against Max Fried, leaning to the Pirates as plus money underdogs. He works through the Tampa Bay Rays at the Toronto Blue Jays, a Baltimore and Boston nightcap at Fenway featuring Kyle Bradish, Michael King and the San Diego Padres against Martin Perez and the Atlanta Braves, the Chicago White Sox at Tyler Alexander and the Texas Rangers in what looks like a bullpen game, and Keider Montero and the Detroit Tigers against Colin Rea at a wind blown Wrigley Field. He closes the card with Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins against Peter Lambert and the Houston Astros, leaning to the under in the final game of the night. Along the way he shares a new Pregame dot com promo code, early seven seven seven, worth ninety eight dollars in savings on football season all access packages good through the Hall of Fame Game in early August. He wraps with the show's recent betting record and lands on his featured best bet of the episode, the Arizona Diamondbacks and Merrill Kelly as home favorites in an early desert matinee against the Athletics.
