Growing pains. Every NHL team and every young NHL player has them. Gavin McKenna was benched by coach Jim Hiller on Thursday night, playing a season-low 6:36 and then Hiller fell on the sword. Is he covering for McKenna? In Vancouver, Zeev Buium has also struggled of late after signing a massive contract extension over the summer.
