Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: If Money Isn’t the Issue, Who is to Blame?

Atlanta Braves fans sound off as frustration builds over Alex Anthopoulos’ offseason moves—or lack thereof. With starting pitcher Spencer Schwellenbach sidelined and Chris Bassitt slipping away, questions mount about Anthopoulos’ unwillingness to take risks despite claiming “money isn’t an issue.” Can the current rotation of Chris Sale, Spencer Strider, Reynaldo López, and others withstand injury risks and unproven arms, or will Atlanta’s World Series odds continue to plummet?

Jake Mastroianni breaks down the Braves’ roster puzzle, dissecting the need for a frontline starter, the prospects of internal options like Hurston Waldrep and J.R. Ritchie, and possible trade scenarios for arms such as Joe Ryan or Zac Gallen. The mailbag also explores concerns about offensive depth, Profar’s role, and Austin Riley’s swing adjustments. Will Anthopoulos finally make the bold move that Braves fans are demanding? Find out in this candid, fast-paced analysis.
