Ep 56: Nayelis Cabello: Running the Show in Louisville

What does it really take to orchestrate one of the most dynamic offenses in college volleyball, and keep opposing defenses guessing on every single touch?

In this episode of the Side Out Society Podcast, Tiff and Lindsay sit down with Louisville floor general and captain Nayelis Cabello. Hailing from Florida with a rich family volleyball legacy, Nayelis opens up about her whirlwind transition to Kentucky, complete with freezing weather, missing winter coats, and learning the hard way how to properly pronounce "Louisville".

Nayelis takes us behind closed doors during the shocking, off-day team meeting where head coach Dani Busboom Kelly announced her departure, revealing the emotional fallout in the locker room and why trusting Dan Meske made staying in Louisville an easy decision. Plus, she dishes on the locker room's funniest nicknames, the surprising preseason twist that sent her roommate Peyton Peterson into the libero jersey, the absolute thrill of executing a ruthless setter dump, and a hilarious "Side Out Sprint" covering pregame orders, celebrity crushes, and more.
