Having had to wait until December to see a win on the road in the league last season, Rovers travelled down to Somerset Park to face an Ayr side many tipped to be best of the rest. Despite an eye-brow raising 'we're going to play without a recognised forward', Barry Robson's Raith Rovers were more Spain 2012 than Craig Levein in the Czech Republic.
