Texans Struggles/Astros Swept

The Houston Texans lost to the Bengals 20-6 in a confusing offensive game. CJ Stroud was able to pass for 353 yards, but no wide receiver had more than 37 yards. The running game was nonexistent, special teams was sad, and no touchdowns were to be had. The Texans starting off slow has become common but fans are getting irritated by another lack-luster offensive performance. Where are you placing most of the blame, H-Town? If that’s not enough to get you frustrated: the Astros got swept by the Atlanta Braves in their last home stand. Now the Stros are under .500, second in the AL West and pretty much out of wild card contention with only 6 games left to right the ship and sneak into the playoffs by being the most mid AL West Champ in a while. The Yordan Alvarez MVP/Triple Crown watch has also been tough this month. It isn’t statistically impossible but the Astros and Yordan both need an incredible week. So it makes sense that Yordan called a team meeting after the sweep. There’s still time for these teams…but the Astros only have one week left. Here’s hoping the dubs start piling up.
