2FC 2.4: Opening Weekend Whiplash

The regular season is officially here, and the Blues wasted absolutely no time putting us through the full range of emotions.

We’re breaking down a nearly perfect season opener in Dallas, including Joel Hofer’s shutout, Mason McTavish’s first goal as a Blue, Dalibor Dvorsky picking up right where he left off and some… questionable officiating. Then, we have to talk about the 6-1 reality check in Colorado and what went wrong on night two of a brutal opening back-to-back.

Around the league, Detroit is already in chaos, Jack Hughes has us talking about players and the media, a massive Toronto-Columbus trade shakes things up, and we have some serious questions for Minnesota’s medical staff.

Two games down, 80 to go. Welcome back to Blues hockey.
