Scott Laffin, Feature Golf Design | Episode No. 532

Feature Golf Design is a golf course architecture firm focused on creating thoughtful, memorable, and site-specific golf experiences. Their work spans new course design, renovations, and unique golf features, with an emphasis on creativity, strategy, and making each project feel distinctive to its setting.

On this episode of The Wednesday Match Play Podcast, powered by Heritage Creations USA, Scott shares his journey to Feature Golf Design, reflects on his time looping at a private club, and talks about his experience with Oliphant Golf. He shares more about The Railway Golf Club, a new nine-hole golf course, and provides insight into his illustrations and how they come together. Scott also discusses his involvement with the ASGCA, the software he uses, and how he designs courses that challenge low-handicap players while remaining enjoyable for the everyday golfer. He explains the important role the golf course superintendent plays throughout the design process. This was a groundbreaking conversation, and it was an honor having Scott on the show. Let's tee off!
