Seahawks Week 8 Preview: EJ Snyder of Bear Era, Plus Nite Wave's Pregame Tailgate Set

The Seattle Seahawks are set to play on Monday Night Football, and their opponent just made a blockbuster trade of their own to counter the acquisition of guard Quenton Nelson. Bears fan and Bootleg Football/Bear Era co-host EJ Snyder explains why Caleb Williams looks like a different quarterback in Year 2 of Ben Johnson's offense, and why that should worry our Seahawks. Will Kyle Monangai play, and will Johnson ever stray from the run when it gets tough? EJ also breaks down what Simmons brings to Chicago, why Jaxon Smith-Njigba against the Bears' struggling outside corners is a nightmare for any defense, and whether a Devin Bush revenge game is coming.

Then Michael Henrichsen of the 80s cover band Nite Wave joins to preview the band's set at the Seahawks' official tailgate at the WaMu Theater (2:30 to 3:30 p.m. before kickoff), tell the story of how a birthday-party stunt landed Billy Idol and share what it was like to be the Kraken's emergency goalie. He also gives his take on the Jonathan Taylor trade rumors and why he feels great about this team.
