BUMMER: Seth Jones has been ruled OUT of the Winter Olympics!

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@JakeW_8) for another edition of Winans Wednesday, as the two discuss the big blow for Seth Jones as he will miss the 2026 Winter Olympic games. This must mean that he is unlikely to return to the Florida Panthers lineup when it is eligible to come off of LTIR on January 27th. There is also an update on Niko Mikkola's health as he missed practice on Wednesday, but what is his status for Thursday night's game in Winnipeg? Brad Marchand returned in a top six sweater in practice, and was on a line that was quite familiar to what Panther fans have seen in the past. The Panthers visit the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night, as it has been a fall from grace for them after winning the Presidents' Trophy just last year and after barely making it out of the first round, they are now the third worst record in the NHL. Their problems got exposed even more when star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was out after getting a procedure done, where the Jets went on an 11-game losing streak. The Panthers will be looking for their first win at the Canada Life Centre since the 2022 season on Thursday night.
