Episode Notes

Izzi could not turn down the incredible opportunity of a 4 year scholarship in the US that was offered on the back of numerous national level performances in the Steeplechase and Cross Country in the final years of High School. What started out as a very overwhelming and challenging experience as a freshmen within the college system culminated into the re-writing of record books, becoming an All-American athlete and Pac-12 champion. Izzi found a way to navigate through the woes of being an injured athlete more than once and always came back a stronger and faster runner determined to discover what she was capable of and never setting limitations on her capabilities. Izzi has now stamped her authority and gained much respect as a formidable opponent on the track and road displaying the talent and fight that will lead to the wearing of many Aussie singlets at majors in the years to come. A story of persistence, desire and belief that I know you will enjoy!
