Outstanding Azzuri and Messi Wins..finally!!
Episode Notes
One month and many amazing matches later the super sunday finally arrived and just how well did it deliver! As the action was indescribably awesome, and the only thing we can say is, 'WoW!'. Messi finally lifted his first international trophy after failing to do so in 4 previous attempts and Italy took the cup to Rome instead of allowing England to bring it home. All this meant Varun was perpetually smiling all day long as finally he had a reply to Messi's international career critiques.
At Wembley, Italy and England needed penalties to find a champion, the very reputed Jorginho failed to take Italy home, but the man-of-the-tournament Donarumma saved his blushes with a crucial 5th penalty save. England started with a fiery pace which lead to Luke Shaw's first international goal and the fastest goal in the Euro finals history. But the experience of the Italy side showed as they quickly regained composure and were rewarded with an equalizer in the 67th minute. Overall, Italy were the better team this tournament and Manchini showed his quality as they continue to extend their unbeaten streak to 33 games.
