Peter Faulkner "Pedro" - R.I.P.

Thanks to Dave Murrell and Jeff McArthur for sharing some memories of “Pedro” Peter Faulkner. We lost "Pedro" in April 2026.  Dave became friends with Pedro 40+ years ago and Jeff first met him in 2014 when he moved into Sooke.  Peter was sometimes called “Newf” by many of his hockey friends.  

We got a chance to chat about many of his friends from all walks of life.  Pedro seemed to have such a positive influence on so many people.  Thanks to Marv Halgren (Royal Colwood Member) for having such an influence on Pedro’s Law Career and keeping him out of jail!

Enjoy some stories about Pedro’s sense of humour and his love of golf.  I’m sure Pedro is up above us and he’s pulling for the Habs.
