Will Tampa Bay Give Into Nikita Kucherov's Trade Request?

Erik Erlendsson (8:45) from Lightning Insider joins Nick Kypreos and Justin Bourne to chat about the timing of Nikita Kucherov's trade request heading into the second month of the new season, the status of a new contract, Tampa Bay Lightning not looking to trade their 33-year old winger, if Julien BriseBois would give into the request, how Kucherov is viewed in the locker room, media and fans throughout his tenure, the parallels between Steven Stamkos leaving the organization in the summer of 2024, and Jon Cooper's relationship with Nikita. Then, Nick, Justin and Sam McKee look at how Kucherov's trade request could overlap into Dylan Larkin's trade request before bringing in Monday Night Hockey's David Amber (30:20) in studio to discuss whether Kucherov has earned the reported demand value of his next contract, the Edmonton Oilers' 3-game win streak, and how the Winnipeg Jets are digging themselves in a bigger hole within a tough division.
